This book is the collection of ordinary and humorous episodes of raising children. By showing different views of both a mother and children, the writer presents stories that anyone can sympathize with. The mother duck teaches her children a lot of lessons, but strangely, baby ducks are getting in trouble more and more as they listen to their mother, which is very ironic. Following traffic lights, watching out cars, and taking care of one another are all right things to do according to mother duck, but it doesn’t well proceed as mother intends to do. Shall this duck family succeed in going out without any problems for the first time?

The writer puts many efforts in proceeding the latter part of the story based on the role change between mother and babies. The writer presents the first part in a calm way, but in the latter part, the writer takes advantages of cartoon cuts in an organized way. It seems that the story is about a clumsy mother leading baby, but it is such an adventurous journey that all the baby ducks are so cheerful and funny. The writer completes the story with an equal and lovely view toward characters. The worries of the mother duck fade away thanks to the pleasant imagination of baby ducks moving forward.
