The writer who received the international illustration award and the first prize of Biennial of Illustration Bratislava (BIB) with her book titled ‘Run, ToTo’, has contained various kinds of orthodox she met in her life in a witty form of stories. In this picture book, she has presented the respect and betrayal she experienced in person as a teenager. There are so many emotions in teenagers, such as excitement and kindness, childishness and meanness, anger and shame, etc. In this honest story mixed with diverse emotions, squids are the ones telling how teenagers feel. The feelings that cannot be frankly expressed out loud are well represented as diverse facial expressions and body languages. The combination of pink colored writing and black squids, which looks quite opposite, creates its own unique rhythm, which is strong and kind at the same time.
