A muscle man and a fat lady are standing in the woods. No one knows their relationship, where they live and what time it is exactly during the day.
There are no such basic information exchanged normally and commonly in this book. The book begins with what the muscle man and the fat lady like to do right away.
The muscle man likes to offer his muscle to birds for a ride. He treats a wounded baby bird and helps the bird practice flying again.
The fat lady walks in a strange way not to step on ants, even stops and waits until all the ants completely pass by. She even waits for ants to sleep, but she falls asleep earlier than ants.
These unexpected scenes of big adults are quite funny and lovely. The story is very simple, consisting of only a few needed words, but the rest of the story is created by illustrations.
The man’s eyes, chin, and the way he runs ridiculously, the bird’s movement and the sleeping lady, and finally yellow green leaves carried by ants are all friendly. However, at the same time, they all build up the storyline in a bold way. Sensitive red body inside the book and the characters’ cool attitude not embarrassing themselves are so natural that readers will be able to feel free in a pleasant way.
