An old lady with a strong character who hates being called "granny" meets a socially withdrawn boy with zero empathy. The story begins with the old lady Jo Yeongbun coming to Seokgyun's house where he has been isolating himself from the outside world for nearly a year following the sudden passing of his mother. Then one day, Seokgyun receives his mother's cellphone in a package without any indication as to who sent it. Now Seokgyun is bound to solve this mystery.

As readers follow the intricate plot and complicated relationships of characters, they end up with a core question of the book,"What if someone was unintentionally hurt because of me?"
