This book is a new style of ‘custom novel’ mixed with humor and sarcasm by concisely showing today’s Korean society since national liberation. The main structure of this novel has the timeframe of four years from 2009 when Yang, Choon-Dan started working as a street cleaner. Another main structure of this book is the family history during three generations from her husband, the dead parents, her second son and daughter-in-law, and finally her grandson and granddaughter. What Choon-Dan experienced with related people in college while she was working as a street cleaner is such a sophisticated small edition of mean, shameful, and frustrating life of all of us living in this society and world.
