This is the way a child, the main character of this book, introduces himself to everyone. He introduces his bag to readers, but never shows his face. So do his mom, grandmother, and dad. They all show what is inside their bags to the child who wonders what others keep inside their bags. And those stuff inside the bag imply the face, personal character, and taste of their owners. This is the fun element that this picture book wants to present. It makes readers think of how the owner of the bag is while checking out the stuff inside the bag ? whether the owners love blue, taking picture, or sewing, and whether the owners have bad sight or not. Several different guesses could come up depending on who reads this book. Furthermore, the quality of things hand-made by the author herself catches our eyes. All those things seem so real, three-dimensional, and very detailed enough to mislead readers wanting to touch them with their own hands.
