The photos used in this book were produced by an author with all her heart as she was traveling all over the world for nearly 20 years. These pictures present beautiful yet untouched nature in the author's warm-hearted view, including a photo taken in front of a notorious European bear. It is also recommended by the Korean Committee of UNESCO. To be recommended by the UNESCO, the book needed to go through difficult process, part of which was that it had to prove itself accurately presenting the names of each area including the places selected as the UNESCO legacy. Furthermore, the book is different from any other book that just simply shows a beauty of the nature. To be honest, the world's natural legacy area has already been sickened in the controversy over its preservation and development. A high-rise hotel comes in the middle of a thick forest while, at the same time, people are still cutting those trees. The philosophical base of this book is scrutinizing the relationship between humans and the nature. What should we do to let humans and the nature co-exist? The writer carefully presents various questions to children, making them consider the relationship between humans and the nature.
