The stories included in this novel collection present the diverse world views and multiple characters, and they also have something in common, which is they all focus on ‘the tomorrow of the youth who arrived in the future’. The representative episode, ‘Death Timer’, begins with the event that the number of death timer, the application to forecast human lifespan, suddenly decreases at the same time. People become confused and panicked that the days shown in the app are not that many in reality. However, Yoo Rim, a teenager girl, feels strange about responses around herself. Isn’t this just forecast lifespan made by a single application?

The writer put young teenagers who already have got used to this changed society in the future, which is several years or even decades from now on. Those seven characters under possible changes in the future world ask today’s teenagers. “What if I die tomorrow?”, “What if I’m trapped in Zoom?”, “What if there exists another me in other world?”, “What if the information in my dream is collected in education information agency?”. Likewise, this book keeps asking readers, “What if?” How will this world be able to change? This book is for youngsters who are curious about our future.
